These Terms govern your purchase and use of BeemNotch, a native macOS application. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
Subject to your payment of the applicable one-time fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use BeemNotch on Macs that you personally own or control.
- One purchased license may be activated on up to 3 Macs belonging to the same user.
- Your license includes lifetime updates for the BeemNotch 1.x line.
- The license is for personal use. Business and team licensing is available — contact us.
2. What You May Not Do
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app or license keys.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where allowed by law.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices.
- Use BeemNotch to violate any law or third-party rights.
3. Updates
We may release updates that fix bugs, add features, or change behavior. Some updates may require a newer macOS version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
4. AI Agents & Third-Party Services
BeemNotch can connect to third-party services (such as AI providers or GitHub) using credentials you provide. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or pricing of those services, and your use of them is governed by their respective terms.
5. Purchases, Pricing, and Taxes
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) may be added at checkout based on your location. Payment is processed by our payment provider; the charge will appear on your statement under their descriptor.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
BeemNotch, its name, logo, design, and code are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you — only the limited license described above.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
BeemNotch is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Mac or macOS configuration.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to BeemNotch will not exceed the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by sharing license keys publicly or attempting to circumvent license checks). You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via the app or on beemnotch.com.
